The BeneMount Corneal Diamond Burr is a corneal debridement tool.This tool is primarily used for treating Spontaneous Chronic Corneal Epithelial Defects (SCCEDs) in veterinary ophthalmology. It gently polishes the corneal epithelium and part of the basement membrane, promoting better adhesion of new epithelial cells and accelerating wound healing.

Specifications
Available with two types of diamond burr heads: 80 grit and 100 grit
The 80 grit burr head has coarser particles, suitable for larger animals, tougher corneas. The 100 grit burr head has finer particles, suitable for smaller animals, thinner corneas.
Speed range: 3800 to 7000 RPM (Revolutions Per Minute)
The actual speed depends on the battery voltage and charge level. This can be adjusted by using batteries with different voltages:
When powered by a 1.5V battery, the speed is 3800 RPM
When powered by a 3.7V battery, the speed is 7000 RPM
